TECH PLANTER is an acceleration and pitch competition focusing on Deep Tech (we call it Real Tech). We conduct this program to provide startups with mentoring, fundraising and market expansion opportunities in Asia, especially in Japan. Winners will receive a trip to Singapore or Japan to pursue angel investment and corporate partnerships. Leave a Nest’s science communicators works with founders each and every day. Dr. Tokue is Managing Director of Leave a Nest Singapore, and Founder of Leave a Nest Malaysia. She was born in Tokyo but raised in Southeast Asia, studied bachelor degree in America and then moved to Australia for Master and PhD degree carrying out field work. Currently she is creating platform in ASEAN to nurture the next generation innovators, startups involving business development partners from industry. Her dream is to one day bring a change to a world with advancement of science and technology with true understanding and appreciation for nature.

Mr. Satoshi Yamanaka joined Mitsubishi Electric in 1998. He had developed high quality picture technologies for Mitsubishi Electric products such as TV and Diamond Vision in Advanced Technology R&D Center for thirteen years. He moved to the department driving open innovation four years ago and exploring new technologies to upgrade their products and services for future market.
Daiki is the youngest capitalist of the deep-tech startup ecosystem in Japan and is the growth manager of Real Tech Fund, the No.1 VC in Japan focusing on deep-tech / real-tech startups. He is specialized in supporting startups, especially that bring solutions to care / welfare and is also the head for global strategy. Before joining Real Tech, he was the president of the largest NPO in Japan that commits in supporting young entrepreneurs globally. He graduated from Keio SFC University with a bachelor in management.
Prof. Dr. Ir. Hadi K. Purwadaria was the founder of the Incubator Center for Agribusiness and Agroindustry (ICAA) of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) in 1995, and lead the incubator to a sustain institution until 2005, when it was further developed into Research and Development Center for Entrepreneurship with the ICAA remained as a division under the new Center. He became the Director of the Center until 2007.
Mr. Bukky Suwarno Head of Incubation Division, Center of Innovation LIPI. The Center of Innovation has 3 main functions, managing LIPI’s IP, transferring technology, and nurturing technology-based startups company as well as MSMEs.
Dr. Kiwi Aliwarga is a person who likes to learn new things and make connections from several disciplines of knowledge and skills. His UMG Idealab has speaks for itself where UMG Idealab could build Tech startups of different fields ad make a deep collaboration to produce new product and services. He also the Founder and CEO of UMG Group, one of the largest companies in Myanmar with more than 5,000 employees and the largest producer and distributor of agricultural tractor equipment.
A seasoned connector and ecosystem builder within the Singapore’s and Indonesia's startup ecosystem. He is currently working with Innovation Factory, the innovation arm of the Salim Group (one of the largest conglomerates in Indonesia) as the program head for SKALA, Indonesia's first metrics-driven and growth-focused pre-seed program for technology startups.
Indigo Creative Nation is Telkom's initiative program in developing company innovation through collaboration with digital startup (paradigm of open innovation). The coverage of the Indigo program includes developing digital talent, developing pre-startup, incubating and accelerating startup, helping startups get their next investment and developing business synergy or co-innovation startups and the Telkom Group. Indigo has currently incubated 162 startups and a number of startups have had significant impacts in supporting economic growth in Indonesia.
