What is TECH PLANTER and why we do it?

TECH PLANTER is an acceleration and pitch competition focusing on Deep Tech (we call it Real Tech). We conduct this program to provide startups with mentoring, fundraising and market expansion opportunities in Asia, especially in Japan. Winners will receive a trip to Singapore or Japan to pursue angel investment and corporate partnerships. Leave a Nest’s science communicators works with founders each and every day. We leverage our experience of launching a science and technology into business forms to ensure your team executes well every step along the way.

Target

Early stage startups and pre-startup researchers’ team in Robotics, IoT, Hardware, Biotech, Healthcare, Food and Agriculture and more real technologies

One of the startups he was supporting called Euglena Co., Ltd. was listed in the First section of Tokyo Stock exchange. Heʼ s expert in advising young entrepreneur in business development and venture spirit.

    Mr. Rizal graduated from Imperial College, University of London in Mechanical Engineering with first class honours, and then obtained the master degree in Business Administration from Charles Sturt University, Australia. His primary responsibility is to drive the strategic SME development with respect to SME Master Plan and SME Integrated Plan of Action, internationalisation of SMEs, business and entrepreneurship development, coordinating the National SME Development Council (NSDC) as well as strategising the economic policies pertaining to SME development which will ultimately increase Malaysia's GDP, exports and job creation.

Mr. Irfan’ s opinions on patentability, infringement, IP audit and valuation, IP commercialization, freedom-to-operate and validity have played a key role in clients’ decision-making process for launch of their products into the Malaysian and foreign market.

His professional expertise in precision industry and his undivided commitment has lead MPM Sdn. Bhd. as one of the leading company in this field. He also has experience of training future engineers from Kolej Kemahiran Tinggi Mara, German-Malaysian Institute and other institutions involved in mechanical industry.
