ThinKers was Crowned as the Grand Winner of TECH PLAN DEMO DAY in MALAYSIA 2022

On 16th July 2022, Leave a Nest had conducted the TECH PLAN DEMO DAY in MALAYSIA 2022 at the Meet Up Hall, Cyberview, Cyberjaya, Selangor, Malaysia and online via Microsoft Teams. Even in this pandemic time, we continue to explore and support deep technologies that can solve deep issues around the world.
This year, 9 finalists were chosen from 31 applications to pitch their core technology, business model and issues that they want to solve in front of a panel of judges from Leave a Nest Malaysia, Mitsui Chemicals Singapore R&D Centre, Pte. Ltd., BIPROGY Inc., Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, Nippon Shokubai Co., Ltd., Real Tech Holdings Co., Ltd., Aerodyne Group, Robopreneur Sdn. Bhd., Cyberview Sdn. Bhd., Malaysian Technology Development Corporation (MTDC), and Human Life Advancement Foundation (HLAF). The finalists were from various backgrounds such as Deep-tech, Agri-tech, Bio-Tech, and Eco-tech.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to the judges who have joined us this year for their feedback, interactions and enthusiasm, all of which have made the event a huge success. We also thank all presenters and participants who have given time to join this event until the end. Last but not least, to all Leave a Nest Group members who support us and make this event a success.
For this year, ThinKers was crowned as the Grand Winner of TECH PLAN Demo Day in Malaysia 2022. ThinKers is a team of local researchers from Universiti Sains Malaysia that works to solve excess carbon dioxide that causes global warming in the world. They provide a solution by introducing a carbon capture technology, which converts the carbon into carbonate through their unique carbon capture membrane.

6. REAL TECH HOLDINGS AWARD
- Winner: Aphelia
- Technology theme: Wireless Charging Station in Space.
- Award Inclusions: 6,000 MYR Cash Prize.
7. AERODYNE AWARD & MTDC AWARD
- Winner: UMORIE
- Technology theme: Graphene Battery For Electric Vehicles (EV).
- Award Inclusions: 6,000 MYR Cash Prize.
8. ROBOPRENEUR AWARD & CYBERVIEW AWARD
- Winner: FEWS
- Technology theme: Flood Mitigation Strategy for Network Transportation in Urban Area.
