Archibiotech Indonesia Triumphs as Grand Winner of TECH PLAN Demo Day in Indonesia 2023!

On May 20th, 2023, Leave a Nest successfully organised TECH PLAN Demo Day in Indonesia 2023​​ held at the prestigious BLOCK71 Bandung. This marked a significant milestone as the event returned to its physical format after an online run for the past three years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The choice of Bandung as this year's host city further amplified the event's significance, as the region has earned the distinguished reputation of being the Silicon Valley of Indonesia. 

The event showcased the brilliance and ingenuity of nine exceptional finalists meticulously selected from a pool of 45 highly promising applicants. The finalists for TECH PLAN Demo Day in Indonesia 2023 represented a diverse range of cutting-edge technologies and groundbreaking solutions. Archibiotech Indonesia, Greenlabs, Albitech, Fishgator, Habibi Garden, Calty Farm, Karla Bionics, Matador Lectro, and BETA-UAS captivated the audience with remarkable visions and inventive concepts. These finalists had the opportunity to present their core technologies, business models, and solutions to pressing issues before a distinguished panel of judges comprising esteemed representatives from Leave a Nest Malaysia, invst.id, NUS Enterprise, Ministry of industry, National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), Ezaki Glico Co. Ltd., Real Tech Holdings Singapore Pte. Ltd., and PT. Rohto Laboratories Indonesia. Additionally, the event also featured three lightning talk presentations from Heroes, EBM Scitech and Atmokun, igniting the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship in the Indonesian tech ecosystem.

TECH PLAN DEMO DAY IN INDONESIA 2023 AWARDEES

The event highlighted ground-breaking technologies and the collaborative spirit of the Indonesian deep tech community, with local judges demonstrating their tremendous support and commitment to supporting entrepreneurs. Archibiotech Indonesia emerged triumphant among the most outstanding startups and researchers, capturing the prestigious Grand Winner and BLOCK71 awards. Their revolutionary projects, Coralove and Xero-Fertilizer, seek to restore the environment's natural equilibrium and revolutionise the agricultural industry. The innovative approach and commitment to making a global impact from Archibiotech Indonesia resonated with the judges, propelling them to the top position.

As the Grand Winner, Archibiotech Indonesia received a financial reward of 10,000,000 IDR and an exclusive invitation to pitch at the prestigious TECH PLANTER Asia Finals in August 2023, held in Malaysia. This essential opportunity will provide Archibiotech Indonesia with a global platform to display their disruptive ideas, engage with industry leaders, and attract possible investors, cementing its status as a tech trailblazer.

Archibiotech Indonesia, honoured as the recipient of the BLOCK71 Award, was granted a valuable opportunity of a 3-month free co-working space at BLOCK71 Bandung. This generous support from BLOCK71 has enabled Archibiotech Indonesia to establish a productive and collaborative environment where they can further nurture their innovative endeavours.

Habibi Garden, with their vision for the future of agriculture, showcased their excellence in agricultural technology and their potential to create ideal conditions for farmers, earning them prestigious recognition. Their exceptional performance led to the bestowal of the Leave a Nest Award and GLICO Award, acknowledging their remarkable achievements. As recipients of these awards, they have secured the opportunity to present their revolutionary project at the highly anticipated TECH PLANTER Asia Finals 2023 and brought back a 6,000,000 IDR monetary prize. The judges were greatly impressed by Habibi Garden's advanced precision technology, which exhibits remarkable scalability and global relevance, with the potential to revolutionise the agricultural industry in Indonesia and worldwide.

Recognising the potential for groundbreaking advancements, TECH PLAN Demo Day in Indonesia 2023 also presented several other notable awards. Beta-UAS, with their cutting-edge VTOL Drone Manufacture technology, clinched the invst.id Award, highlighting their solid technological foundation and strong B2B market potential. As part of their achievement, Beta-UAS received a prize money of 6,000,000 IDR, further affirming their exceptional contributions to the field.

Greenlabs, pioneers in developing bioplasticizer to sustain the environment, secured the REAL TECH Holdings Singapore Award for their remarkable work utilising palm oil and benefiting local communities. As recipients of this esteemed award, Greenlabs was awarded a prize money of 6,000,000 IDR, further validating their exceptional contributions to creating a greener and more sustainable future.
