Active Guard, Winner of 2nd Tech Plan Grand Prix Taiwan

Active Guard is a team from Asia University, Taichung. Their technology – Tire tread sensing device, use in automotive wheel arches installed red laser displacement detector, when the vehicle is powered on, it will automatically detect the tread meets the state standard 1.6mm thickness.

Active Guard joined 3rd Tech Plan Grand Prix which held at Tokyo, Sep. 2015. Their challenge was to build a relationship with Japanese company. Mr. Obara from Orix, which has lease business and rent-a-car business gave them a great advise.
